Magnolia Travel Spotlight: Carly Causey

Travel has always been a huge part of my life, and now I’m turning that passion into something bigger through Magnolia Travel Group. As a newer agent, my focus is on creating personal, thoughtful travel experiences for each client—whether it’s a solo getaway, a Caribbean honeymoon, or a Mediterranean cruise.

I’ve been lucky enough to see quite a bit of the world, and that experience adds something special to the trips I plan—including my upcoming adventure to Portugal and Morocco. I spent a summer living abroad in Stirling, Scotland during college, which gave me some real-world, hands-on experience with international travel. Right now, I’m especially focused on working with clients who have a general idea of what they want but are open to a little creative flair. I love adding personal touches and shaping the details that turn a basic trip into something unforgettable.

I’m also a huge tennis fan, and one of my personal travel goals has been to attend all four Grand Slam tournaments. So far, I’ve checked off the US Open in New York City, the French Open in Paris, and Wimbledon in London. All that’s left is Melbourne for the Australian Open—and I’ll get there soon enough!

One of my favorite travel hacks is how I time block a long-haul flight to stay comfortable and arrive feeling (mostly) humanAs soon as I’m settling in and the first meal service begins, I take a few key steps to get flight-ready: I put on my compression socks to help with swelling, get cozy in comfortable clothes, and prep my space for rest. After enjoying the meal, I’m ready to sleep as soon as the cabin lights go down. A sleep mask is a must for me, along with earplugs and any medication I might need—always kept easily accessible in my personal item. I also swear by the TRTL neck pillow; it’s a game-changer for keeping my neck supported and avoiding that awful stiff, post-nap ache. Hydration is another top priority. I make a point to drink plenty of water, walk around during the flight, and keep some electrolytes close by just in case. Dry cabin air can do a number on your skin, so I also pack a good moisturizer and lip balm to stay comfortable throughout the flight. These small steps make a big difference—and they help me hit the ground running when I land.

At the heart of what I do is the belief that travel should be exciting and smooth, yet tailored to your budget and wants. Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, setting out on your own, or ready to explore a new part of the world, I’d love to help you make it happen!

I can be reached at the email or phone number below, and can’t wait to help you plan the trip of a lifetime.
